Sri Kamakshi Seva Sangh Trust was established in the year 2000 by Shri.Rtn.PHF S.Chidambaram, with a view to engage in service activities aimed at improving the educational, health and social conditions of the public in general. The main objectives of the trust is to strive for educational upliftment of the people and to encourage learning as a positive experience.
Sri Kamakshi Seva Sangh is providing number of social helps and also engaged in various types of upliftment programmes for poor and needy people.
SAKTHI COLLEGE OF NURSING
Sakthi College of Nursing is the first Nursing College in Karur District. It was established by Sri Kamakshi Seva Sangh trust in the year of 2007.Our Sakthi College of Nursing and Hostel Built up area is 60,000 square feet and having a total land of 42 acres situated at in between New National high way Trichy to Coimbatore NH 65 and Karur to Dindigul via Esanatham main road, Aachimangalam, Thanthonimalai (post) Karur 639005.
Our College is also located in between the Saratha College of Arts & Science and Government Arts College, Karur
KARUR
Karur is one of the oldest towns in Tamilnadu and has played a very significant role in the glorious history and culture
of the Tamils. Its history dates back to centuries before Christ and has been a flourishing trading centre even in the early
sangam days. Epigraphical, numismatic, archaeological and literary evidences have proved beyond doubt that Karur was the capital
of literary evidences and was the capital of early chera kings of sangam age. It was called Karuvoor or Vanji during sangam days.
Karur is bounded by Namakkal District in the north, the dindigul District in the south, the tiruchirappalli District on the east
and erode District on the west. The city is famous for its cottage industries and the handloom textiles. Cement factory, Sugar factory,
TNPL Paper mill are also located here.

Shri.Rtn.PHF.S.Chidambaram
The Founder and the Chairman Shri.Rtn.S.Chidambaram, who is a renowned person in Karur.  He is the Founder-Chairman and Managing Director of Karur Benefit Fund Ltd., Karur which is an approved “Nidhi” company by the Govt. of India. He is the executive committee member of the Chamber of Nidhis, Chennai. He is the Founder and Chairman of Sakthi College of Nursing and Sri Meenakshi Matriculation School. He is the former president of Rotary Club of Karur Texcity and former chairman of the Karur Texcity Rotary Foundation. He is the Assistant Governor of RI district 3000 in the year 2010-2011. He is the co-ordinator of Tamilnadu Recognized Nursing School’s and Colleges Association. He is the former president of Tamilnadu Benefit Funds Association. He is the co-ordinator of more than 500 years historical old Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple and he is solely responsible for renovation of the temple, with the heartful co-operation of devotees.

Shri V.Karuppannan is the Secretary of the Trust. He is one of the leading land promoters in Karur District.
He is also a agriculturist and established the form house. He promoted the Amutha Nagar, Pasumai Nagar, Malligai Nagar, Sangar Nagar, Meenakshi Garden, Sakthi Garden and Anil Nagar in and around the Karur Town. He is also run the Karur Kandhagiri Chamber is one of the leading chamber in Karur District. He is the patner of the Best Decaraters Garment Export Company in Karur Town. He is also Director of Karur Benefit Fund Ltd. His son Mr.Raja is a Exporter.
Treasurer – Shri.P.Murugesan:
Shri P.Murugesan is the Treasurer of the Trust. He is the Non Resident Indian. He is one of the Director
of Karur Benefit Fund Ltd. He is also the Managing Partner of the Nanban Finance & Marris Finance in Karur
Town. His Elder son Mr. Pradeep BE MBA, working at Multi National company, Younger son Mr.Praveen doing BDS course at Chennai.
Advisor – Shri.M.Kamaraj
Shri M.Kamaraj is advisor of our Trust. He is 70 years old and former Head Master of Govt. Schools in Karur.
His son Mr.K.Senthilvelan MD is working in Govt Head Quarters Hospital Karur. He is also Partner of Pugazhi
Finance & Group Velayuthampalayam.

Shri.K.Balasubramanian is one of the Trustee of the Trust. He is BE graduate Financier & Real Estate

Shri.P.Chidambaram is one of the Trustee of the trust. He is the Managing Partner of SEETHA TEX,
one of the leading Garment Export Company in Karur. He is the Correspondent of Nava Jeevan Matriculation
School at Panchamadevi.
Shri V.Karthikeyan
Shri.V.Karthikeyan is one of the trustee of the trust. He is doing Export business in Karur. His Father Mr.K.Veerapathran BE, who is former Executive Engineer of PWD, Government of Tamil Nadu. His mother Shri.V.Rajeswari MBBS.,
